Fully Loaded Clip holds its reporting to the following standards. They apply to every story, review and video we publish.
Sourcing
Stories about laws, regulations and court cases link to the statute, rule, docket or opinion they describe. We do not report a filing as a ruling, a proposed rule as final, or a lower-court decision as settled nationwide.
Quotations and interviews
Quotations are verbatim and on the record unless we say otherwise. Interviews from our archive show both the original recording date and the publication date. We do not backdate stories.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and add a dated note at the top of the story explaining what changed.
Independence
Advertisers and sponsors have no input into editorial coverage. No one can pay for a news story, a favorable review or the removal of accurate reporting.
Sponsored content
We may publish content paid for by a company or organization. When we do:
- It is labeled Sponsored at the top, along with the name of the sponsor.
- It appears in its own section, never under News, ATF & NFA or Legislation & Legal.
- It is never presented as an independent review.
- Fully Loaded Clip, not the sponsor, approves what is published.
News, analysis and opinion
News stories report what happened and cite sources. Pieces written in a contributor’s own voice, such as how they would handle a legal change, are their perspective and are presented that way. Neither is legal advice.
Contributors
Contributors review and approve anything published under their name. Photos and video are their own or used with permission, and people we film or photograph for interviews know they are on the record.
Reviews and affiliate links
Reviews state how the product was obtained (purchased, loaned or provided by the manufacturer) and what we could not test. Some links may earn Fully Loaded Clip a commission; we disclose this at the top of every review that contains them, and it never affects our verdict.
Use of AI tools
We may use software tools, including AI, to help with research, transcription and drafts. Every story is reviewed, fact-checked and approved by a human editor before publication, and the byline names the person responsible for it.
